Seth Michael Donsky

Biography


Seth Michael Donsky’s debut feature film, Twisted, premiered at the 47th Annual Berlin International Film Festival. It was screened at the Museum of Modern Art in New York, the National Film Theatre of Great Britain, the National Gallery of Canada and distributed theatrically in the U.S. and throughout Europe. His short film Loopy screened at festivals around the world and was broadcast in the U.S. on the Independent Film Channel. He holds an M.F.A. in film from Columbia University and is a two-time national finalist of the Coca-Cola Refreshing Filmmaker Contest.

As a journalist Seth contributes to The Daily Beast, The New York Press, Los Angeles Confidential , Gotham Magazine, Womansday.com and PointClickHome , the online version of ELLE Décor, Metropolitan Home and Home Magazines.

His writing has been selected for publication in Cleis Press' upcoming Best Sex Writing of 2010.

As an actor he most recently appeared in Fire Island Repertory Theatre’s 2008 revival of Sordid Lives and onstage with the Calgary Men’s Chorus performing the narration for their production of A Christmas Carol, which, additionally, he adapted for presentation as a choral performance.
